# Directions:
01 - Wash and dry apples thoroughly. Insert wooden sticks into tops and set aside.
02 - Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in medium saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring until sugar dissolves.
03 - Increase heat and boil without stirring until mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage) on candy thermometer, about 7–8 minutes.
04 - Remove from heat and quickly stir in black gel food coloring and vanilla extract.
05 - Dip each apple carefully into candy mixture, swirling to coat completely. Let excess drip off and place on parchment-lined tray to set.
06 - Arrange poison apples in center of large serving board. Place caramel and chocolate sauces in small bowls nearby.
