Crème fraîche, mozzarella, and dill pickles create a tangy, creamy pizza with a unique flavor and crunchy bite.
# What You'll Need:
→ Dough
01 - 1 pizza dough ball (about 8.8 oz), store-bought or homemade
→ Sauce
02 - 2/3 cup crème fraîche
03 - 1 clove garlic, minced
04 - 1 teaspoon fresh dill, finely chopped
05 - 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
06 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
→ Toppings
07 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles
09 - 1 tablespoon red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, for garnish
# Directions:
01 - Preheat the oven to 480°F (250°C), or the highest temperature your oven allows. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven during preheating.
02 - On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 12-inch round. Transfer onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
03 - In a bowl, combine crème fraîche, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and evenly mixed.
04 - Spread the crème fraîche sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
05 - Distribute the shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce. Arrange the dill pickle slices and red onion (if using) across the cheese.
06 - Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the crust turns golden and the cheese is bubbling.
07 - Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh dill, slice into portions, and serve immediately.
